Our retail store is located in the Old Town Patio Market between Guerrilla Graphix and Blackbird Coffee House. The best place to park is in the SE corner of the Albuquerque Museum parking lot at the corner of 19th St and Old Town Road.

Desert Bird Mercantile: Albuquerque Old Town family-owned pillow and handmade and custom furniture store featuring fine wood furnishings and artist designed textiles. We also have art, stationary, books, accessories and items from other local makers. We are committed to our local creative community and are certified New Mexico True. Our shop is surrounded by the historic old well and a beautiful garden – a pleasant and relaxing venue for all of your gift needs!
Corrales, New Mexico
Our Corrales location focuses on Neal’s handmade furniture along with other gift items. We also have a ‘Fabric Nest’ with bolts of Tammy’s textile designs in quilting cotton as well as her illustrated fabric panels. Find us at Corrales Road and Meadowlark (the Old Schoolhouse) in the building across from Frontier Mart and the gas station.

Our Corrales location focuses on fine handmade furniture and has a smaller collection of our most popular home decor and gift items. In addition to our standard furniture collections, we would love to talk to you about custom projects.

- Spoonflower, Durham, NC: Some of Tammy’s textile designs are available for purchase by the yard directly from Spoonflower under her designer name Desertbird.
- Blurb.com, Tammy self-publishes her illustrated books through Blurb. If you are patient with their search engine, you can buy books directly from them.
- A couple of fantastic Old Town-area AirBnB’s feature some of Tammy’s textiles. Phyllis Raspoli-Harper, hostess of La Perla, has created curtains with ‘Sunbeams’. Bernadette Jobs, hostess of Desert Mermaid, ordered some custom curtain panels featuring cactus and hummingbird illustrations.
